This place is conveniently located near 'the Pheasant' pub, close to a great restaurant for Sunday Lunch, and it's a beautiful castle.

Savoury and delicious breakfast with great views over the castle lawns, extremely polite workers. Location really close to a castle, the 1851 restaurant which was amazing and excellent service and free transport to-and-from the castle down a long winding path. Plus, 10 minutes drive from Beeston Market.

The room was extremely pleasant and unique. The really tasty cocktails were a nice touch.

The lashing rain and wind whistling around the towers and the rather rattly windows of my room (although these couldn't be left open for fresh air). It was a stormy night so from the perspective of London, the weather added veracity and a rather spooky dimension. Others commented; all you needed to complete the experience was some flashes of lightning and a few bats.
Communication problems between our on-line booking and the hotel reservations office. One or other had got the dates wrong. This caused some anxiety, several extra phone calls and delayed our departure for Peckforton Castle, thereby making driving more arduous and difficult. In addition, poor local road signage made navigating at night impossible. Google map provides directions via road names however these are often missing at strategic junctions. Peckforton Castle's own road signs are in very small print and poorly lit making access at night difficult for newcomers.

The room was big and spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast. Lovely hotel.
It was hard to find and we didn't like how far the car park was from the actual hotel. It also took us ages to walk to our room from reception. The curtains in our room had partly come off the rail so they wouldn't hang properly. Also our bed was two singles pushed together, the gap was quite annoying in the night. The TV was much too high up on the wall, it was small and strained our necks.

the location, very convenient for us as we had travelled on the daylight sailing from Belfast to Birkenhead, en route to family in Herts. We had a very warm welcome from the staff. nothing was to much trouble for them, particularly Ian the Head Porter who gave us a guided tour the next morning after b'fast
I overbalanced whilst in the bathroom and had to grab the nearest item for support, the electric towel rail this operates at a very very high temp, if a child were to touch this it would receive a nast burn, perhaps this is something you might wish to address

The room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities like a shower and slippers, and the location of the venue was secluded. Rewritten: the room was very clean and had everything I needed, like a shower and slippers, and the venue was situated in a secluded area.

Thoroughly enjoyed the place. Had a really nice stay away from the function room hosting a wedding. - the accommodation had a remote location behind the reception area. - Convenient proximity to the main restaurant and Chester. - the Michelin-starred restaurant for dinner was a highlight.

The quirkiness of the building and the adaptation of it. High quality fixtures and fittings in the rooms. Very good bed. Loved the bathroom. Loved the space in the bathroom. Loved the old stone against the new interior decor. I live in a converted water tower hence my appreciation of the building.
It looks very imposing as you arrive and if you go beyond the car park round the back it looks horrible. The grounds are woodland and it would be hard to make it look more welcoming however, reducing the tree canopy might help if it was allowed.

Staff were very helpful and breakfast very good. Impressive building and surroundings with plenty to do in the area.
Function rooms for weddings etc were very close to bedrooms which is ok if you are attending the function but obviously noisy if you are an independant guest. We had requested a quiet room.
